Some of the games I have selected are from well known TV formats. I have tried to choose those games that are fun as well as visual and so everyone can join in. Timings on these vary and can be extended or reduced dependant on the audience interaction. It takes seconds to flip from one to another, so keeping up the momentum and entertainment.
KARAOKE - SING-A-LONG
Once a provisional booking is made I will visit your establishment to ensure:
All equipment will be supplied by Break The Fun Barrier.
This will allow a smoother set up of my equipment on the day of the event, limiting the interference to the location's normal routine and to other members of the building.
GUESS THE WORD
Guess The Word is derived from the ‘Hangman’ game but with variations due to the macabre format of the original game. The method of guessing the words are the same, a row of dashes each corresponding to a letter.
A clue is given and the participants guess the words by calling out the letters. Every letter that they get wrong is added to the board and part of a customised humorous animation is displayed - this is projected onto a screen via a computer.
I have produced 24 different animated scenarios that can be selected by the participant prior to starting the game. There are two distinct types:-
BINGO
The numbers are drawn by a software program at the click of the mouse and displays the called number in a large font in the middle.
A board below shows the historical numbers called.
Appropriate prizes are given to the winner.
PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT
An 80’s television classic hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth. I have recreated this fun quiz keeping the ‘out of a hundred people’ and the next card by higher / lower format.
Using different interactive mediums:-
The game starts with two teams thus involving every one. After getting a question correct they get control of the board. The winning team is the first team to predict the sequence of cards across their row by higher or lower decision.
The next phase is for the winning team but I still encourage everyone to join in and comment / participate. Again it is a high / low scenario but they bet the points they have won in round one.
What do points make?...prizes! I can offer a choice of small prizes from a selection I have. The type of prize will be discussed with the location manager to ensure they are relevant to the
participants.
DEAL OR NO DEAL
Each member of the audience will be given a plastic envelope with a picture of a box on it with a number in the centre. The real game you get an actual box, but this would have been bulky.
One member of the audience is chosen to be the lead person and then this person chooses which box they wish to discard, thus removing the prize amount from the board.
At every choose a sound effect can be selected dependant on a low or high number revealed:-
At stages the phone will ring (sound effect) and the banker will offer an amount for the persons box. They can take the offer or carry on.
The game will conclude when only one box is left and this is the winning prize amount and ranges from 1p to £4.
Dependant on the audience, each person may get two envelopes. At this time I have 10 but this can be increased if the number of persons attending the session is greater than 10. Please inform me of the approx size of the group.
